PROJECT DETAILS AND TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Designed with a total IT load of 90 kW and a capacity of 26 server cabinets, the Socar Vadistanbul Data Center is equipped with the latest technologies to meet the company’s need for 24/7 uninterrupted data processing. With an average power target of 3.5 kW per cabinet, the system’s entire power and cooling infrastructure has been built according to the principles of zero-error tolerance and maximum efficiency.
Featured Engineering Solutions:
Power and UPS Architecture: To ensure uninterrupted system operation, Vertiv–Liebert APM (modular, static) UPS systems with an N+1 redundancy configuration were selected, and the power infrastructure was reliably integrated accordingly.
Climate Control (Cooling) Strategy: Vertiv’s PDX Series in-room cooling technologies were used to ensure optimal thermal management in the white space and the UPS room. With an N+1 redundant cooling architecture, the IT heat load of 3.5 kW (on average) per cabinet was successfully balanced.
Fire Detection and Suppression: The facility’s safety is ensured by a Novec 1230 gas-based fire suppression system—which is environmentally friendly and does not damage equipment—and is integrated with the Siemens 5001 conventional system.
Structural and Architectural Applications: In addition to electromechanical installations; fire-resistant door installations, raised flooring and underfloor grid grounding systems, non-combustible plaster and paint applications, epoxy coatings for ceilings and floors, and the installation of cabinets and cold aisles have also been completed by our teams on a turnkey basis.
