Standard Cable Colors and Their Meanings

Yellow–Green Striped (Ground Wire): It is the safety belt of your electrical system. It ensures the safety of people and property by directly diverting any electrical leakage that may occur in the device’s housing to ground. Under normal conditions, it does not carry current.
